Company won the Highlight of the Year Award in Marketing Channels segment / Petite Porte, and figure in the lists of the 200 Largest IT and the 10 fastest growing companies in Brazil
Aker Security Solutions, one of the largest Brazilian companies in digital security technology, has just won the award "Company of the Year" awarded by Information Today Yearbook 2015. The Yearbook, which is completing 25 years of existence, is one of the most traditional annual rankings covering the performance of Brazilian and multinational iT companies operating in Brazil.
Aker was awarded the Segment Marketing Channels / Petite Porte, in commercial and financial performance in 2014. The company is also among the 200 largest IT companies in Brazil for the second consecutive year.
In the current issue, Aker occupies the 149th place, a significant increase compared to the position 167 of the latest edition. Still, as analysis of the Yearbook, the company is among the 10 Champions of growth last year.
With a network of over 200 resellers and integrators nationwide, Aker is a pioneer Brazilian manufacturers in information security technology. With 18 years of existence, Aker received from the Federal Government to CERTICS certification, which recognizes national companies developing own technology. Aker UTM Firewall, unified central security are among the products evaluated by global consultancy Gartner.
